Reception New Starters 2026-2027

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Leigh and Bransford Primary School. We look forward to your child joining our fantastic school community and becoming an important part of school life.

Stay and play dates:
Wednesday 1st July and Wednesday 8th July 1:30pm – 2:45pm

September Start:

Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd September - children will attend either mornings or afternoons
Morning: 9:15am –11:30am
Afternoon: 1:00pm –3:15pm
(Session allocation will be confirmed at the parent meeting, the stay and play sessions or via contacting the school office)

Friday 4th September
All children attend 9:15am – 11:30am
Family picnic: 11:30am–12:45pm (parents invited)

Monday 7th September
Chidren attend full-time 8:45am–3:15pm

Start time: 8:45am

Finish time: 3:15pm

PE kit/ outdoor learning days: Thursdays & Fridays - children are to wear PE Kit on these days.
